Dear Madison Drum Corps Family-
We're disappointed to share with you that the Rose Parade Committee did not approve our application to join the 2026 Rose Parade. While this is sad news, we learned a great deal and we were able to connect with so many of you! We also heard that old friends had been reintroduced, and that new ones have formed. We truly believe that this process has helped create an atmosphere of inclusivity and excitement for other possible projects.
So, what's our next move? There are two options:

Our application for participation in the 2026 Rose Parade has been submitted. We should know by early fall, at the latest, of our potential involvement. Designers for color guard work, music, parade block, and teaching staff have been selected. A logo and uniform designs are also being explored. Be sure to “spread the word” to fellow alumni! All flags and rifles will be provided for once in Pasadena. Before then, you need to practice. Please get in touch with local universities or public schools and ask if you can borrow a flag or rifle.
1. If you do not have an instrument for this project, we will provide one while you rehearse and perform in Pasadena.
2. You are responsible for renting or borrowing an instrument to practice on your own before getting to Pasadena. Check with your local music store, public school, university, or other resource.
3. For those of you that do have your own instrument, you are responsible for getting ot to Pasadena.
