Dear Madison Drum Corps Family-

We're disappointed to share with you that the Rose Parade Committee did not approve our application to join the 2026 Rose Parade. While this is sad news, we learned a great deal and we were able to connect with so many of you! We also heard that old friends had been reintroduced, and that new ones have formed. We truly believe that this process has helped create an atmosphere of inclusivity and excitement for other possible projects.

So, what's our next move? There are two options:

1. We end this project. If we choose to end this affiliation:
   1. If you made a deposit, you would receive a refund.
   2. We will be finished with any future communications.
2. We keep our options open. If we choose to continue this affiliation:
   1. Monies deposited can remain in our accounts.
   2. We discuss future possible projects, which could include the 2027 Rose Parade and/or participation in the 2026 Mardi Gras parade, etc.
