Dear Madison Drum Corps Family-
We're disappointed to share with you that the Rose Parade Committee did not approve our application to join the 2026 Rose Parade. While this is sad news, we learned a great deal and we were able to connect with so many of you! We also heard that old friends had been reintroduced, and that new ones have formed. We truly believe that this process has helped create an atmosphere of inclusivity and excitement for other possible projects.
So, what's our next move? There are two options:
- We end this project. If we choose to end this affiliation:
- If you made a deposit, you would receive a refund.
- We will be finished with any future communications.
- We keep our options open. If we choose to continue this affiliation:
- Monies deposited can remain in our accounts.
- We discuss future possible projects, which could include the 2027 Rose Parade and/or participation in the 2026 Mardi Gras parade, etc.
We want to know what you think! Look for a survey soon, and please share your thoughts on options.
Thank you so much to all who helped with various activities, including logo design, equipment possibilities, legal advice, and simply chatting via Zoom, email, text, or phone.

Registration window is open!
With the Drums On Parade weekend, Friday, June 28, and Saturday, June 29, fast approaching, we are officially accepting registrations to participate in the 2026 Tournament of Roses Parade. Part of this registration process includes a $100 deposit to reserve your spot for this exciting project. Once you complete your payment, you can log into the members-only area of the website. This will be where official performer communication and performance materials, including PDF and MP3 files, can be reviewed and downloaded as they are made available to the membership. It is essential to understand that the Rose Parade does not confirm participation until early fall, but we must get our infrastructure set up before then. Therefore, we want to let you all know in advance that if we are not accepted for any reason, we will refund your deposit payment.
Facts regarding this deposit payment:
- The $100 deposit payment is refundable; you can pay using an existing PayPal account or Credit Card.
- This payment will cover project expenses such as website applications, uniforms, music copyright fees, shipping, etc.
- Making your deposit payment guarantees a performance spot for this project.
- Performers and any staff planning to attend the Pasadena performance must make this deposit payment.
- To officially sign up and make your deposit payment, please select the Join menu link above (when it appears).
